I know what better days look like. Though too often I choose to be lazy or waste my time on worthless things, I know the components of a better day and how much more alive I feel when I live intentionally instead of letting each day just fly by. I’m making a commitment this week to put in the work to make those better days happen. My goals for this year center on self care and improvement so that I can be better for myself and for others. Last night I went to bed at an appropriate time. I woke up early this morning. I put some records on, opened the windows, cleaned my apartment, and put a roast in the crockpot for pulled pork at church later this afternoon all before 9:30am. AND IT FELT GREAT. I’m getting ready to sit down with the #SheReadsTruth devo for this morning and then I’m going to work on homework until church! There is no secret to living a full, intentional, joy-filled life. It’s in all of these things and so much more- we just have to wake up and receive today’s gifts.
