I have this thing about beautiful notebooks where I buy them and then “save” them because they’re so pristine. My mom bought me this gold Kate Spade one for Christmas, and I have yet to use it. But I just finished The #FringeHours last night — literally a life-changing book — and I’m going to use this notebook as a running list of anything and everything I want/need to do. Not work-related, but things around the house or special projects. Then when I have pockets of time, I can cross things off my list — whether it’s a craft I’ve been wanting to do, a book I want to read, or an little household task I’ve been meaning to get to (that will make me feel SO much better to just complete). Seriously, this book is amazing. It’s all about learning how to best use your time so you make time for “things that give you joy and feed your soul.” @jessicanturner is a genius.
